五局下，五棒劉基鴻擊出左外野一壘安打，六棒陳品捷成功短打護送劉基鴻上到二壘，味全龍首度攻佔得點圈，但德保拉站穩腳步，面對七棒蔣少宏先投出三振，八棒張𧙗嘉擊出游擊滾地球出局，留下二壘殘壘，味全依舊未能取得分數。
德保拉進入第六局的投球，味全九棒林孝程先擊出內野滾地球出局，一棒李凱威成功選球獲得四壞球保送上壘，二棒張政禹擊出中外野一壘安打，味全攻佔一三壘，三棒郭嚴文擊出二壘滾地球，中信二壘手岳東華傳球發生失誤，李凱威回到本壘拿下第一分，味全0:1 取得領先。
七局下，五棒劉基鴻及六棒陳品捷分別擊出外野飛球及內野滾地球出局，二人出局情況下，七棒蔣少宏擊出左外野滾地一壘安打，八棒張𧙗嘉在一好三壞下，決定全力揮擊擊出右外野二分打點全壘打，味全將領先差距擴大至0:3 。
八九兩局，味全分別派上銳歐及陳冠偉上場守住味全龍的領先優勢，未讓中信兄弟擊出任何安打，終場味全就以3:0 拿下本場比賽勝利，先發投手徐若熙主投6又1/3 局未丟任何分數，拿下本場最有價值球員。
