上午10點的台中街頭，烏雲慢慢遮住了太陽，雨下不來、熱氣散不開，呈現一個極悶的狀態。
揹著攝影器材，依照約定在永豐銀行北台中分行等著前兄弟象江仲豪代總教練到來，這一趟的心情正如外在環境一樣，充滿著熱情與期待，因為這是好朋友知道粉專將要漸漸轉型後，積極幫我爭取到的邀訪機會。
江仲豪教練爽快的接受訪談，在將近兩個小時的訪問裡，與我們分享了許多故事。
「職稱不重要，稱職才重要」
之所以在文章開頭稱呼江總為代總教練，是因為從職棒7-9年屬於他實際執掌兵符的三年中，他在球隊的職稱是「代總教練」並行總教練事實。在球隊歷經第一次三連霸王朝後，主力球員漸漸老化、台灣大聯盟成立進行球員挖角等原因，造成球隊戰力受損而不如以往競爭力。
在這球隊重建期扛起重責的江總，不僅球員戰力匱乏，加上帶領的年輕教練團均是全數都為球員兼教練，肩上的壓力可想而知，當時情況是巧婦難為無米之炊啊!
當時面對媒體詢問何時真除? 江總這句名言可說是道盡當時的責任與心態!

「如果自己18歲就可以打職棒，加上現今的運動科學，我相信自己打個15年不成問題!」
一句話道盡江總對於自己棒球技術的自信(事實也是如此，在當年三級棒球的歷史中，江總的打擊與投手成績都是赫赫有名的，有拿金牌認證的)，同時也對自己在棒球年紀屬於高齡的32歲才能接觸職棒，而沒有太多機會在場上展現成績的事實感到遺憾!
「如果自己18歲就可以打職棒，加上現今的運動科學，我相信自己打個15年不成問題!」江總對於自己沒能多以選手資格參與職棒賽事感到遺憾。
